Body Shop – Foaming Bath
On my birthday a few months ago, my partner got me a strawberry bath & body gift set from the Body Shop. It has some gorgeous shower gel, body butter and soap. It’s also got one of the those body scrubs which never dry out properly. But it’s red and goes with the set, so I’m not complaining
Unfortunately the set didn’t include the bubble bath, so I bought some yesterday. It’s an incredible £7.80, which is why I put off buying it for so long (hoping there’d be a sale).
I kid you not, it’s the best bath stuff I’ve ever used. I’ve always loved the body shop, but the prices do alienate me somewhat. But it’s easy to see why the prices are quite high! If anyone’s not sure what to get me, you can’t go wrong with the Body Shop, I love anything from there

Nougat Toiletries

Nougat Toiletries- Tuberose and Jasmine bath oil
Wow, I’ve found something special! I’ve always been on the lookout for fragrances which are really unique and compliment my skin perfectly, and I’ve found something which is so lovely, I just have to share!
Nougat toiletries really are in a class of their own, and I’ve tried out the Tuberose and Jasmine bath oil so far, which is incredible.
It come in a tall glass decanter, with rhinestones around the neck with a traditional stopper top. The fragrance is so lovely- its soft, sweet and floral. I’ll definitely be recommending it to people, and maybe even buying small collections as Christmas presents.
Epilator first trial
I tried out my shiny new epilator at the weekend. All I can say is: ouch!! At the time, I said a lot more than that, but that was because I’ve never felt so much prolonged serious pain! The ice leg cooler did help a bit, but it works by cooling the bit of the leg that’s just been epilated. I would have thought it would work better the other way round. Anyway, I did grin and bear it, and the results were amazing!! Really smooth, and much better than waxing, which only snaps the hairs in half whilst leaving you with impossibly sticky patches of wax that NEVER come off! I’ve read that you get used to epilation, so the pain isn’t such a huge factor anymore. Taking ibuprofen 1 hour beforehand can also help, apparently.
So, I can definately recommend the Philips Ice Cooler epilator, in terms of great results. In terms of pain, I’ve got nothing to compare it too, but I’ll say that yes, it bloody hurts! But within time, this should calm down. Hopefully.
Epilators – yay or nay
After about 3 months of umming and erring about getting an epilator, I finally made the leap at the weekend. The reason I bought one was that I sick of shaving and getting that horrible prickly feeling, even straight after shaving! It’s such a bad idea, and I think people should start as they mean to go on, and go straight for the waxing and/or epilator, because sooner or later you’ll get to the breaking point with your shaver.
I bought a Philips Ice Cooler Epilator, which was £54.99 in Boots. I am trying to make myself feel better about this spending by thinking that it’s a long term saving, which it is!
However, I’ve been reading more about epilation on the net, and so many people say it’s so painful, they had to go back to shaving. As I haven’t had a chance to try mine out yet, I can’t say, but obviously I’ve now got doubt in my mind.
I’ll let you know when I’ve tried it out.
