Disappointment with a certain website
I’ve already had two biscuits and an ice lolly today..
Anyway, I just remembered to tell you that I visited a well known crafts store, (a superstore you might call it) and added some items to my basket. I went to the payment process, at which point the transaction failed to go through. I emailed the company straight away, asking if there was anything wrong- intending to return to the online store the following day, to complete my payment.
Instead of this, they failed to reply to me until 5 days later, by which point I was thinking they weren’t interested, and they didn’t even apologise. That was the worst part- no apology at all. I felt this was incredibly rude and I have not gone back.
Weight Loss
Throughout my life I’ve been very proud of being able to stay thin. But last year I allowed myself to put on weight. I went from 8 and a half stone to 10 and a half stone in a year.
In 4 months, I’ve managed to get myself down to 10 stone but it’s been an awful struggle. I’ve gone for runs about twice a week and I try to go for walks and do some aerobics every day, but it’s hard to fit that into my working life.
I have an operation soon which means I’ll have to only consume liquid foods for two weeks, so that should actually help me along. My goal is to be 9 stone by the 1st November.
Personalised Christmas Baubles
Hey, it was only a few months ago I was talking about Christmas stress. I think I should rename this the ‘Christmas Blog’. But I’m already thinking of things to buy my beloved, plus family and friends.
I love this idea that With Love Gifts are doing – Christmas baubles you can personalise. I’m always wary of giving too many gifts at that time of year which aren’t particularly Christmassy.
It’s so much nicer to give a gift that’s personal. The Christmas bauble will re-emerge every year, reminding you of that Christmas you received it, making the whole decoration of the tree extra special.
I love it

Christmas Stress
I apologise greatly for the lack of posting recently- Christmas sure is the busiest time of the year, whether it’s shopping/work/family life.
I’ll get back into posting after Christmas has finished, and the stress is no longer present.
I have bought so many gifts this year, I think I may have gone overboard. But I won’t say anything specific incase my loved ones end up reading here before Christmas Day..
Speak soon..
Cheap Fireworks are rubbish
My boyfriend’s brother had bought us a set of Fireworks from Tesco, and yesterday we decided to light them all. They weren’t real fireworks though- just waves of sparks and hissing noises lol. As the pack was only £3, I guess I shouldn’t have expected more, but because I have absoloutely zero experience with fireworks (never allowed to try them at my own home), I was pretty disappointed.
And standing in the dark while it was raining wasn’t exactly brilliant. If I was to do that again, I’d buy some proper big rockets, the kind you only really see in professional displays. Not those weedy pathetic little things. It would be about £30 for only 1, but it would be worth it
